The reception device includes a reception unit that receives the beacon signal, a separator that separates the first information portion from the second information portion, a second hardware processor that performs hardware processing on the separated second information portion, a determination unit that determines whether the separated first information portion has been updated, and a second software processor that performs, if the first information portion has been updated, software processing on the updated first information portion.
