A method of mechanical destruction of ice on an aircraft wing, according to which a pad is mounted on a surface of ahead of aircraft wing, said pad is made of an elastic material such as rubber, with metal plates placed inside, which are located with a gap in their plane, a magnetic field generator is mounted under the skin of aircraft wing near the coating of elastic material that generates an magnetic field of variable phase, providing intermittent magnetic field oscillations acting on the metal plates that are pressed inside pad of elastic material, then metal plates are moved relative to their static position on the outer surface of wing under the action of intermittent oscillations of magnetic field with periodic increase-decreasing of the distance from said surface of ahead of the wing, deformation of the pad is provided at periodic movement of the plates back and forth relative to their static position made of elastic material, by its compression-tension. Mechanical destruction of ice is carried out by applying to the ice layer formed in the air on the outer surface of said pad of the efforts of different sign generated by periodic variations of the volume of pad. In the pad the plates are located, that are made of ferromagnetic material. |
