发明名称 METHOD FOR REMOVAL OF OXYGEN FROM FLUORIDE MELTS
摘要 The object of the invention is a method for the removal of oxygen from fluoride melts, used as working liquids in promising for today liquid salt nuclear reactors. The field: atomic industry. The essence of the proposed method consists in the chemical transformation of heavily soluble metal oxides to the soluble fluorides with the help of gaseous boron trifluoride BF. The source of the last in melt is sodium tetrafluoroborate. The quantitative relationships of components are determined, by which boron is not accumulated in melt, and is taken from the last in a form of cyclic gaseous boron oxofluoride. The result of this is the possibility of effective use of liquid salt nuclear reactors, particularly for afterburning of irradiated fuel of active today reactors. It will allow decreasing of ecological hazard and financial costs, connected with burying of the spent nuclear fuel.
