The device (1) has sound absorption panels i.e. baffles (3a-3c), with a central block comprising interior perforated plates having openings arranged in communication with cavities. A displacing unit (12) displaces the central block and exterior perforated plates of the absorption panel between openings coincidence positions. Two intersecting sections of the openings correspond to maximum absorption frequencies, in the openings coincidence positions.
