FIELD: mining. ^ SUBSTANCE: radial-thrust bearings are installed in bearing assembly of roller cutter with their taper angles towards each other, which provides increase of working length of support and its rigidity, and connection of opposite contact surfaces -outer rings of one of bearings with inner ring of the other one, provides their tandem operation, which increases carrying capacity of bearing assembly in axial direction. At that, contact angle of tandem operating bearings is determined by the deviation angle of rotation axis of roller cutter from vertical plane and by the required tension force of tandem bearings, which is created by operating load. ^ EFFECT: increasing carrying capacity of bearing support, rigidity and vibration stability of support. ^ 3 cl, 3 dwg |
