<p>PURPOSE: A phosphor is provided to ensure excellent luminous efficiency such as luminescent brightness and to prevent the brightness from being reduced by moisture in the air since magnesium oxide is coated on the surface. CONSTITUTION: A phosphor includes crystals represented by chemical formula: (A_(1-x)B_x)M_m(S_(1-y)Se_y)_z:aEu^(2+),bRe,cQ. In chemical formula, A and B are +2 valent metal as different metal; M is +3 valent metal; Re is Group lanthanide metal; Q is Group halogen; x, m, y and z satisfy 0 <= x <= 1, 0 <= m <= 2, 0 <= y <= 1, and z = 1 + 3m/2; and a, b and c satisfy 0.001 <= a <= 0.09, 0 <= b <= 0.1 and 0 <= c <= 0.4.</p> |
