PURPOSE: An energy saving type window system for an ultra high rise building is provided to minimize the consumption of air conditioning energy and heating energy according to a heater and an air conditioner, to improve the durability of a product, and to cut down on initial installation cost and maintenance cost. CONSTITUTION: An energy saving type window system for an ultra high rise building comprises: an outer window(100) fixed to the outside of an ultra high rise building to make contact with the outside air; a sunshade box(200) fixed to the inside of the outer window; a sash frame(300) fixed to the inside of the sunshade box; an inner window(400) installed to the sash frame at a certain distance from the outer window; and a sunshade(500) installed to the inner upper part of the sunshade box to ascend and descend a space between the inner window and the outer window and to cut off solar light.
