PURPOSE: A device for protecting a cable on a traveling road of a lightweight train of a rubber wheel type is provided to form a travelling road connection plate and a cable installation space unit on a travelling road, thereby eliminating noise and absorbing vibration when the rubber wheels of a lightweight train pass the travelling road connection plate. CONSTITUTION: A cable(1) for supplying electricity or a signal crosses on a travelling road in a cable installation space unit. The cable installation space unit can be partitioned into several parts based on the number of support stands installed in a connection plate. The connection plate is made of a plate, a support stand, a noise absorbing member, and a sound absorbing and reinforcing member. The support stand is mounted on the bottom of the cable installation space unit by an anchor bolt. A travelling road connection plate is placed and the cable installation space unit is partitioned into several parts. The cable and a cover(2) pass the spaces.
