The module (11) has a printed circuit plate (12) defined by an upper surface, a lower surface and a peripheral side surface. Electronic components (13) are mounted on the upper surface of the plate and connected to conducting tracks of the printed circuit plate. The conducting tracks are connected to connection plates formed by conducting layer portions that are extending on the peripheral side surface, the lower surface and the upper surface of the plate in close proximity to the peripheral side surface. An independent claim is also included for an electronic device comprising electronic components that are fixed on a printed circuit board.
