A device for continuous cutting a book back and preparing thereof for application of an adhesive comprises a track conveyor and a tool assembly located along the conveyor with a drive for its displacement. The tool assembly comprises a carrier and a slider-crank mechanism with hingedly connected and serially located compensator and a curved rocker. The carrier is connected to the drive for displacement of the tool assembly. On the rocker a set of circular knives is fastened, and in the last from the set of knives a cutter is mounted. |
