摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A method for recovering valuable metal from a waste lithium ion battery and scraps is provided to increase the recovery rate of CO by reducing the amount of CO coprecipitated with Mn. CONSTITUTION: A method for recovering valuable metal from a waste lithium ion battery and scraps is as follows. Leachate, in which metal is melted, is produced by adding a sulfuric acid solution to a waste lithium ion battery and scraps. Mn and Co are extracted to solvent by reacting organic solvents to the leachate. A solution with Mn and Co is separated from a solution with Mn and Li. The separated solutions are collected to each other. The sulfuric acid solution is produced by extracting Mn and Co from the collected solution with Mn and Co. Mn is filtered and is collected by adding an oxidation catalyst to the sulfuric acid solution.</p>
