PURPOSE: An air cleaner for a vehicle is provided to reduce manufacturing cost since first and second uneven parts of a frame and a cover are engaged and thus air-tightness is maintained between a body and the cover without a rubber packing. CONSTITUTION: An air cleaner(100) for a vehicle comprises a body(10), a cover(30) and a clamper. The body accepts a filter assembly(70). The cover covers the top of the body. The clamper clamps the body and the cover. The filter assembly comprises a filter element(71) and a filter frame(75). The filter frame is fixed between the upper end of the body and the lower end of the cover. The filter frame supports the filter element. A first uneven part(81) is formed on the fixed potion of the filter frame and a second uneven part(91) is formed on the lower end of the cover. A plurality of protrusions(83) and a plurality of first grooves(85) of the first uneven part are alternately formed. The second uneven part comprises a plurality of second protrusions(93) and a plurality of second grooves(95).
