PURPOSE: A wing assembly of an APFSDS(Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot) for preventing the separation of a tracer and an assembling method thereof are provided to maintain stable performance of an APFSDS because a tracer cap is integrated in the wing assembly. CONSTITUTION: A wing assembly of an APFSDS comprises: a hollow wing unit(10) which has a plurality of wings, internal threads, and a tracer hole(51); a tracer assembly(30) which is inserted in the hollow of the wing unit, a tracer cap(40) which is located between the tracer assembly and an APFSDS body and coupled with the wing unit to fix the tracer assembly; the APFSDS body(20) which is inserted from the front of the wing unit and coupled with the internal threads; and a disk(50) which prevents the infiltration of foreign materials into the tracer assembly.
