PURPOSE: A surface treatement method for the components of a compressor is provided to improve the durability of a compressor by ferritic-nitrocarburizing a swash plate. CONSTITUTION: A surface treatment method for the components of a compressor is as follows. A nitrogenous compound layer is formed by manufacturing a swash plate(14) using medium carbon steel and ferritic-nitrocarburizing the swash plate. The surface hardness of the nitrogenous compound layer is 400~700Hv. A carburizing layer is formed by carburizing the nitrogenous compound layer.
