APPLICATION METHOD OF PROTECTIVE COATING ON SURFACE OF CARTRIDGE CASE

FIELD: weapons and ammunition. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves formation on surface of case of ground layer with its further passivation and polymer layer by treatment of case in water solution of polymer of polyorganosiloxane and copolymer of butadiene with styrene and polymer modifying it with further heat treatment. As ground layer there subsequently formed is phosphate layer at least in two baths starting from treatment in bath with solution with total acidity of 20 points, and then with increase of total acidity of up to 120 points in next bath(s). At that, during treatment of case in water solution it is mixed by using the pump and continuously filtered. After that, prior to heat treatment the case is subject to separation during 1Ç5 minutes by removing excess mixture from its surface and from cavity; at that, operations of formation of protective coating layers are performed by means of rotating drum with in series located sections appropriate to performed operations. ^ EFFECT: higher strength of coating and its uniformity as to thickness. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg, 1 ex
