PURPOSE: A rudder for a ship and a ship including the same are provided to improve the structural stability of a rudder horn because a hydrodynamic load caused by the slip stream of a propeller is symmetrically applied to the rudder horn. CONSTITUTION: A rudder for a ship comprises a rudder horn(30) which is attached to a hull(10) and a rudder moving part(40) which is installed in the rudder horn and allowed to move. The rudder horn has a cross section in which a front end is biased to the right or left about a center line of the rudder horn in at least a region of a vertical direction.
