Method for evaluation of stability of pumpkin plants against floury dew by content of ascorbic acid in leaves. Selection of stable against floury dew forms of pumpkin (sorts, hybrids, specific plants) one can carry out at early stages of ontogenesis by results of content of ascorbic acid, with not permitting hybridization of stable and susceptible plants at flowering, and stability can be fixed by methods of individual (inbreeding) or negative selection. |
