A multi-faceted one-sided cutting plate has a cutting head with one cutting edge and an anvil of prismatic concave shape for attachment of the plate in a holder of cutting tool. The cutting head has two cutting edges on two lateral surfaces of the square, and for formation of lateral rear angles αon the surfaces inclines are made from the top of head to the anvil.
