The pad i.e. top line pad (1), has a steel support layer i.e. outer sheet, on an outer circumference of the pad, and a friction material layer. A lubrication groove (7) is formed in the friction material layer on an inner circumference of the pad. A lubrication orifice (6) traverses the pad between the outer circumference of the pad and the lubrication groove. A maintenance tab is located on an outer circumferential surface of the pad, and includes an axial protuberance area (16) relative to an outer surface of the pad. The tab is located at the right of the lubrication groove.
