The sock (8) has protection strips (10) provided at level of zones of an external surface opposite to metallic parts of a shell (2) of a ski boot, where the sock is made of fabric. The strips are made of heat transferable film such as polyurethane, through hot press molding or thermowelding. The strips have thickness of 0.1 to 0.5 mm, so that the strips penetrate in fabric weft of sock.
