PURPOSE: A message timeout error check method is provided to obtain reliability of message. CONSTITUTION: The message timeout error check method having main control device and sub control device which communicates through other control devices and bus includes the steps: judging whether the sub control device received the regular number of messages continuously from the main control device; registering the massage as representative message when the message was contiguously received for the predetermined time; and generating the message timeout error if the representative message is not received for the predetermined time.
