APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONFORMANCE TESTING OF CLIENT IN SUBSTATION AUTOMATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for testing the client conformance of substation automating system are provided to verify the conformance of intelligent electronic device(IEC) 61850 communication service in an upper operational system. CONSTITUTION: A conformance testing unit is in connection with a client(20) and a plurality of virtual IEDs(10). The conformance testing unit tests the conformance of the client according to the manipulation of a switch. A saving part saves respect testing model required for testing the conformance of the client. A conformance testing procedure generating part is composed of a testing model selecting part, a testing model editing part, and a testing model position adjusting part.
