RECOGNITION METHOD OF MULTIPLE ACTIVE RFID TAGS

The present invention relates to a recognition method of multiple active RFID tags, which can reduce an amount of messages transmitted and received between a reader and tags in a multi-active RFID system, increase tag collection performance by allowing the tags to transmit minimum responses only during an initial process of tag collection, and decrease tag collection time. The method comprises the steps of: the reader, broadcasting a tag collection command to the tags; the tags, transmitting responses by including 2-byte random numbers (RNs) instead of 6-byte tag IDs when the tags transmit the responses in a listen period (LP); and the reader, collecting additional data for the tags in an acknowledge period (AP) by using the random numbers (RNs) obtained from the responses of the tags received in the listen period (LP).
