PURPOSE: An oil pump drive method for a hybrid vehicle is provided to improve the durability of the device and to continuously drive a motor. CONSTITUTION: An oil pump drive method for a hybrid vehicle comprises next steps. The power is applied to an oil pump drive unit for hybrid vehicle exterior(100). It determines whether the external computing device oil pump normally drives or not. If it is not the normal drive condition, a CAN transceiver(70) and a central processing unit(20) have errors. If the CAN transceiver and TCU(300) are switched off, receives a PWM signal through an interface unit(80). If the interface unit is cut, a motor controller(30) is controlled according to the temperature detected by a temperature sensor(60).
