<p>The disclosed chassis frame is provided with: a front and rear pair of suspension frames formed from a metal material; and a middle frame that is formed from a fiber-reinforced plastic and that is linked at the front end and the rear end to the front and the rear suspension frame, respectively. Each of the pair of suspension frames is provided with: side members that extend in the front-back direction of the vehicle on both sides of the vehicle; cross members that link said side members to each other; and a suspension-attachment section to which a suspension is attached. The middle frame is provided with: side members that have a hollow cross-section and that extend in the front-back direction of the vehicle on both sides of the vehicle; and cross members that link said side members to each other. The front and rear ends of each side member of the middle frame are linking sections, and the side members of the pair of suspension frames are each inserted into a linking section from both ends in the front-back direction of the vehicle, and are fastened to each other using a fastening member.</p> |
