摘要 <p>Disclosed is an optical pickup device capable of compensating for misalignment in position of a light receiving unit that is disposed upon an optical sensor, the misalignment thereof caused by misalignment between a first laser element and a second laser element that are disposed upon a dual-wavelength laser diode. The optical pickup device comprises a first light receiving unit whereupon returning light that is reflected off of a first optical disc signal recording layer is projected, a second light receiving unit (8D) whereupon returning light that is reflected off of a second optical disc signal recording layer is projected, and an optical sensor that is formed upon the same semiconductor substrate as that of the first and second light receiving units. The fixed position of the optical sensor is adjusted with the first optical receiving unit, and a light receiving unit for correcting positional misalignment that electrically corrects positional misalignment between the first light receiving unit and the second receiving unit (8D) is formed upon the second light receiving unit (8D).</p>
