A method and a system for unified security authentication are disclosed. The method comprises: a safety passage is established between an authentication center and an application server system after the authentication center authenticates the application server system(101); after the authentication center authenticates a terminal, the terminal accesses the application server system(102); the application server system obtains the identification information of the terminal from the authentication center, and performs a second authentication according to the identification information of the terminal which is returned through the safety passage by the authentication center(103). The solution can achieve unified security authentication, and not only just be limited on the single-point authentication and logging on of the application layer within a small range.
