Disclosed is a method for fillet arc welding high-strength thin steel sheets, which yields a good weld toe shape and which can improve the fatigue properties of welded joints, even at welding speeds of 110 cm/min - 150 cm/min. When fillet arc welding a high-strength thin steel sheet with a tensile strength of 700 MPa or more is carried out using a gas shield at a welding speeds of 110 cm/min - 150 cm/min and the steel sheet is configured so as to contain 0.02-0.15% of C, 0.2-1.8% of Si, and 0.5-2.5% of Mn, and so that if the Si content (% by mass) of the steel sheet is represented by Si (steel sheet) and the Si content (% by mass) of the welding wire used for the fillet arc welding is represented by Si (wire), then the formula {Si (steel sheet) + 0.1×Si (wire)} = 0.32 is satisfied. |
