<p>To enable sufficient suppression of disturbances in decoded images, even in cases where an error has occurred. Disclosed is a multi-viewpoint motion image decoding device (100) for decoding a motion image stream including first encoded motion image information taken from a first viewpoint and second encoded motion image information taken from a second viewpoint, the device including: a decoder (120) for decoding the motion image stream; an error detector (130) for detecting an error in the motion image stream; and an error image corrector (140) for correcting the detected error. The error image corrector (140) includes: a decoding controller (142) for controlling the decoder (120) such that, if an error is detected in a piece of first encoded image information contained in the first motion image information, the decoder decodes a piece of second encoded image information which is contained in the second motion image information and which is scheduled to be decoded after the first encoded image information; and a correction processor (143) for correcting the detected error using decoded image information generated by decoding the second encoded image information.</p> |
