<p>PURPOSE: A method for collecting metal zinc from zinc oxide is provided to produce high purity metal zinc by collecting zinc oxide contained steel powder with high recovery rate, and to improve economical efficiency for collecting the metal zinc. CONSTITUTION: A method for collecting metal zinc from zinc oxide comprises the following steps: forming mixed metal powder by mixing zinc oxide powder 50~85 weight% and iron powder 15~50 weight%; forming a mixed metal molding product(21) by pressurizing and molding the mixed metal powder; volatilizing zinc gas by guide-heating the mixed metal molding product with high frequency; collecting molten zinc(23) by condensing zinc gas; and forming zinc ingot by cooling and molding the molten zinc.</p> |
