<p>PURPOSE: A system and a method for remotely controlling a transmission apparatus for network operation are provided to remotely control power of a transmission apparatus during network operation, thereby performing emergent measure when abnormality occurs in the transmission apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A power monitoring device comprises the following units. A current sensor unit(222) senses currents flowing in each transmission apparatus. A power state detector(223) detects power states of each transmission apparatus based on sensed values. A power switching unit(224) remotely controls power of each transmission apparatus by on/off switching operation. An MCU(Micro Control Unit)(225) controls each transmission apparatus remotely.</p> |
