<p>Provided is a scheme of a base station to avoid interference with a macrocell, wherein the base station prompts a terminal to perform handoff from the macrocell by using a pilot beacon. The base station of a mobile communication system includes a transmission unit for transmitting the pilot beacon such that a mobile terminal detects the base station, a registration unit for registering information on mobile terminals to use the base station or users corresponding to these mobile terminals, and a control unit for controlling the transmission unit to stop transmission of the pilot beacon if all mobile terminals registered with the registration unit perform location registration to the base station, based on information on mobile terminals which perform location registration to the base station or corresponding users and based on the information on the mobile terminals registered with the registration unit or the corresponding users.</p> |
