THE MANUFACTURING MOLD FOR DOME SHEET USING DOME SWITCH OF CELLULAR PHONE

PURPOSE: A mold for manufacturing a dome sheet for a dome switch of a cellular phone is provided to enhance processing speed and yield by simultaneously performing piercing and half-cutting works without the replacement of a mold. CONSTITUTION: A mold for manufacturing a dome sheet for a dome switch of a cellular phone comprises upper and lower molds(10,30), a wood or pinnacle knife mold(20a). The upper mold consists of a punch holder(12), a punch plate(14), and a stripper(17). The punch holder is fixed to the ram portion of a press through a shank(11). The punch plate is coupled to a pilot pin(15) and a piercing punch(16). The stripper guides a sheet material, the pilot pin and the piercing punch. The lower mold consists of a die (31) and a die holder(37). A pilot pin hole and a punch hole pass through a die. The die holder discharges scraps downwardly. The knife mold simultaneously performs piercing and half-cutting works on the sheet material.
