ANTIBACTERIAL DETERGENT COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: A natural cleansing composition with antibacterial effects is provided to effectively control skin bacteria and to improve skin moisturizing effects. CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial cleansing composition contains green tea catechin, green tea extract, and peppermint oil in a weight ratio(w/w) of 0.001-1:5-40:0.4-8. The green tea is Camellia sinensis. The composition is manufactured in the form of a hand wash, body wash, cleansing foam, cleansing gel, or soap. The peppermint oil is prepared by steaming/distilling peppermint oil at 100°C for 5 hours, and decompressing. The composition has antibacterial activity against Staphyococcus aureus(ATCC 6538) and Escherichia coli(ATCC 8739).
