PURPOSE: A VLC(Visible Light Communications) system and method are provided to emit the light of chromaticity corresponding to all predetermined chromaticity coordinate value in advance and set a predetermined chromaticity coordinate value used in demodulation in a receiver on the basis of the chromaticity of received light. CONSTITUTION: Data converting units(102~106) change data into a predetermined chromaticity coordinate value. A data transmitting unit controls the luminous intensity of each light source(108). The data transmitting unit emits the light of chromaticity corresponding to the acquired chromaticity coordinate value. A prior lighting-emitting unit(110) emits the light of chromaticity corresponding to the predetermined chromaticity coordinate value through the control of radiation intensity before the radiation control by the data transmitting unit. |
