C-MET SPECIFIC ANTIBODIES AND DIAGNOSIS KIT FOR CANCER USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: An antibody which specifically binds to c-Met and a kit for diagnosing cancer using the same are provided to confirm the overexpression of c-Met protein and to effectively detect cancer. CONSTITUTION: A monoclonal antibody which specifically binds to c-Met is produced from hybridoma cells(deposit number KCLRF-BP-00219). A monoclonal antibody which specifically binds to c-Met protein is produced from hybridoma cells(deposit number KCLRF-BP-00223). The monoclonal antibody is IgG1 type. The c-Met protein is derived from a human or mouse. A kit for diagnosing cancer for measuring the expression level of c-Met in a sample contains an antibody which specifically binds to c-Met protein. A method for detecting the c-Met protein comprises a step of contacting the antibody to a sample from a patient.
