PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular grille control mechanism capable of correcting the situation that a position of a movable member which should be in accordance with the operation condition is not coincident with an actual position of the movable member when the open operation condition or the close operation condition of the movable member is ongoing. SOLUTION: The vehicular grille control mechanism includes the movable member 21 capable of being switched between an open position for introducing the outside air to a radiator 3 mounted on a vehicle and a close position for forbidding or suppressing introduction of the outside air, an electric motor for driving the movable member 21, and a control means 11 for applying the electric current to the electric motor and opening or closing the movable member 21 when the open operation condition for operating the movable member 21 to the open position or the close operation condition for operating the movable member 21 to the close position is established. The control means 11 intermittently applies the electric current in accordance with the ongoing operation condition before the different operation condition is established after the movable member 21 is opened or closed.
