PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily check the image quality of an image of an object to be focused. SOLUTION: In a digital camera 10, when a shutter key is half-pressed, focusing is performed based on a region within a focusing area frame R of image data captured by a photographing apparatus 16 to extract the feature point information of the object to be focused from the image data used for the focusing. When the image data are captured from the photographing apparatus 16 after the focusing, the position of the object to be focused is specified from the captured image data based on the extracted feature point information. When a confirmation key is pressed, an image at a position specified as a position of the object to be focused is displayed in a magnified manner on a display screen of a display device 15.
