PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial lock unit easily mountable to a door or the like, minimizing a need for working on the casing side and excelling in usability. SOLUTION: The dial lock unit is constituted by assembling, in relation to one another to a casing, an operating part 31 receiving an external operation and movable between a closing position and an opening position, a dial lock body 32 having functions of receiving the external operation, changing the arrangement of a dial and detecting a dial collation state and a dial non-collation state, an engaging part 33 movable between a locking position and an unlocking position, a reaction force mechanism A applying a return reaction force to the engaging part, and a detecting means D detecting a predetermined operating position when a displacement part 72 is pushed in from the outside. The engaging part and the displacement part are arranged on one end side of the casing, and when the operating part is in the opening position in the non-pushed-in state of the displacement part, resilience is accumulated in the reaction force mechanism to hold the engaging part in the unlocking position. When the displacement part is pushed in, the engaging part is released from holding and moved into the locking position by the resilience of the reaction force mechanism.
