PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent pest repellent composition exhibiting an excellent repellent effect, which is safe, has high drying properties, and contains a useful pest repellent ingredient, and to provide a porous or fibrous pest repellent material impregnated with the pest repellent composition. SOLUTION: The pest repellent composition includes solubilized p-menthane-3,8-diol. There is also provided a safe, porous or fibrous support having drying properties and a repellent effect, the support being impregnated with the pest repellent composition.
