PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which is not supposed to be reused, and an endoscope apparatus or the like which includes such an endoscope, has a simple structure and has secured safety. SOLUTION: The scope 10 of the endoscope apparatus 60 is not reused and is thrown away. The scope 10 is provided with a history holding circuit 16. In the meantime, a processor 30 is provided with a history holding circuit control part 32. When the scope 10 is connected for endoscopic observation and used, the capacitor 25 of the history holding circuit 16 holds an electric charge by the control of the history holding circuit control part 32. Thereafter, when the scope 10 in a state in which the capacitor 25 holds the electric charge is connected to the processor 30 again, the use of the scope 10 is inhibited.
