A tractor-drawn haymaking machine having at least one pair of driven oppositely rotating rake heads 10 carried by a transverse support 6 has at each end of the support 6 a further driven rake head 11 mounted on a telescopic arm 19, 20, the rake heads 10 being mounted so that they can rotate with and without the path of their tines overlapping and the drive means being such that they can also rotate in the same direction. The rake heads are driven from the tractor power shaft by articulated shafts or crossed belt drive and the support 6 has a length adjusting device 6<SP>1</SP>. The arms 19, 20 may be swung into a straight line with support 6 and the implement is arranged obliquely behind the tractor, all the rake heads being driven in the same direction. |
