A fan wheel 4 is disposed between a photoelectric cell 9 controlling a burner and the combustion chamber. The fan wheel is secured to the hollow shaft 3 of a motor 2 and has holes 11 in its hub through which the light of the flame passes to the photo-cell. The air throughput is adjusted by an iris diaphragm 14. An oil spray nozzle 5 is secured to the shaft 3 and is supplied by a gear pump 6 fastened to the shaft 3. The output of the pump is delivered by a copper tube 7 to the shaft 3, the connection between the tube and shaft being sealed by a seal 8 disposed in the interior of the pump. A control unit 18 and an ignition transformer are arranged in the burner casing. A plurality of spray nozzles may be arranged concentrically to the shaft. The axis of the spray may be at an angle to the shaft. |
