<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide turning structure that can reliably bear a radial load, an axial load, and a moment load acting on the turning structure, and can be manufactured at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The turning structure includes: a rolling bearing mechanism having an endless ring-shaped stationary ring constituted of a plurality of arciform track rails having a constant radius of curvature, and a plurality of slide blocks which are incorporated in the stationary ring via a number of rolling elements and are movable along the stationary ring; and a slide bearing mechanism having a turning table which is shaped like a ring, secured to the slide blocks of the rolling bearing mechanism, and supports an object to be turned, and a bearing member which is formed in a substantially C-shaped section so as to clamp the turning table from the axial direction of the turning structure, and constitutes a slide bearing together with the turning table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
