<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery having a new shape of support which houses an electrode assembly. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary battery installed with the electrode assembly, the support to house the electrode assembly, and a sheet shaped exterior material connected to the support is provided. The electrode assembly having the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate, and the support to house the electrode assembly are included. At the support body, the body, a first electrode terminal electrically coupled with the first electrode plate, and a secondary electrode terminal electrically coupled with the second electrode plate are installed.
