<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document carrying device which tightly attracts a document to a conveying belt, and restrains the document from being exfoliated out of the conveying belt, an image reading device, and an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: A pressurizing belt 95 is tensed across a plurality of tension roller in contact with a vicinity of a reading position from an uppermost stream part of a document conveying direction in a document conveying area, in which a document on a conveying belt 94 is attracted and conveyed. Thereby, immediately after the document contacts the conveying belt 94, the document enters into a contact part of the conveying belt 94 and the pressurizing belt 95, and is pressurized toward the conveying belt 94 side by the pressurizing belt 95.
