PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy which is manufactured in an environment friendly manner and has excellent alloy characteristics and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a step of providing a master alloy containing calcium-based compound and aluminum, a step of forming a molten metal in which the master alloy and aluminum are melted, and a step of casting the molten metal to cast an aluminum alloy.
