PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight while giving anisotropy to spring characteristics in a right-angled direction to a shaft. SOLUTION: A vibration control device 10 press-fixed into a cylindrical holder 2 of a mounting member 1 includes an outer cylinder 14 made of resin and formed in cylindrical shape surrounding a shaft member 12. The outer cylinder 14, while securing a cylindrical part 26 serving as a press-in part on one end 14A side in an axial direction X, is provided with a recess 28 on the other axial end side to enhance a spring constant in the right-angled direction Yb to the shaft by recessing a peripheral wall inward Yi in the right-angled direction to the shaft to narrow a space between itself and the shaft member 12.
