<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic billet storing and conveying device which speedily, accurately, and safely conveys a plurality of billets at a time to or from a storage place, and loades the billets on shelves at the front and rear of struts or unloads the billets therefrom. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic billet storing and conveying device includes the storage place (5) which includes the rows of the large number of struts (4) disposed at intervals that are orderly arranged in the lateral and longitudinal directions and which have a large number of shelves (3) on the front and rear sides, respectively, conveying machines (6) longitudinally traveling over the storage place, a pair of lifting masts (9), (9) installed on the conveying machines, a fork support body (25) horizontally attached to the bottom ends of the lifting masts, fork elements (27), (27) which are attached to both ends of the fork support body to be rotated horizontally for receiving the plurality of billets (26), and rotating mechanisms (29) for rotating the fork elements by 180°forward and backward so that the billets can be loaded on both shelves on the front and rear sides of the struts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
