PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which improves stability during rotation of a rotating drum. SOLUTION: In the game machine such as a slot machine wherein a player plays a game by rotating a plurality of rotating drums and then stopping the rotating drums, a rotating-position detecting means for detecting a rotating position of a rotating-drum-driving motor is provided, and an excitation phase of the rotating-drum-driving motor in the start of the rotating drum is controlled based on the output of the rotating-position detecting means. Specifically, a detecting means for detecting the rotating position when the rotating drum driving motor stops or starts is provided, and based on the detection output, the next initial excitation phase is determined, so as to achieve the stability of the rotation in the initial rotation of the rotating drum.
